Choose Acne Treatment Which Best Suits YouAll of us love our faces, don't we? Can you find a single person who wouldn't steal a glance at a mirror at the slightest opportunity? You wouldn't, I'm sure. But this face of ours, which we love so dearly, at times becomes vulnerable to acne. Ugly red pimples and deep scars tend to disfigure the smooth skin and make us scared to look at our pock marked faces. So, it is only natural for those who suffer from acne to desperately look for acne treatment. There are various options available but one has to be a bit choosy and careful before selecting a specific form of acne treatment. There are lots and lots of skin creams, lotions and gels that blare from rooftops that they are the one and only sure shot treatment of acne, but the general perception among dermatologists is acne should be tackled at all fronts. One needs to simultaneously take care of skin hygiene while having a balanced diet and must consciously try to reduce stress and tension as far as possible. Acne is a stubborn ailment; it needs multi-pronged attack to be subdued. Dermatologists are generally of the opinion that glycerin based soaps and face washes are best suited to cleanse facial skin and block breeding of bacteria while retaining natural skin moisture. Others also feel a combination of Zinc and Vitamins A and E are the best option for acne treatment. For the more chronic types of acne, use of antibiotics and retinoid becomes unavoidable, but they must be taken only under medical advice and supervision since some these medicines are known to have unpleasant side effects which may be as superficial as flaking of skin to the really serious problem of severe depression. Some among us prefer to go herbal to avoid all the side effects of conventional medicines. Tea oil and Aloe Vera have caused wonders in acne treatment so also has fish. Actually fish is rich in omega-3, but if you don't like fish but would like to ingest omega-3 nonetheless, go for an omega-3 supplement which is made from fish oil only. You should also see to it that your body gets at least two grams of omega-3 fatty acids, so ensure your supplement contains these fatty acids also and not only fish oil. The basic problem with these treatments however is that everybody does not react uniformly to each remedy and you need to try out each of these to hit on the one which best suits you.
